Dalam upaya menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan nilai-nilai inklusi dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya bagi guru-guru pendidikan agama, Maarif Institute yang bekerjasama dengan INFID (Internstionsl NGO Forum an Indonesian Development) dan beberapa lembaga lainya membuat kegiatan pelatihan LOVE (Living Our Values Everyday) bagi guru-guru pendidikan agama di beberapa wilayah, salah satunya adalah Malang Raya.
Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan selama tiga hari di Swiss Bellin Hotel Malang, pada Selasa, 08/08/2023 sampai Rabu, 10/08/2023. Pelatihan LOVE ini dihadiri oleh 21 guru Pendidikan Agama Lintas Iman di Malang Raya tingkat SMA/K sederajat.
Harapan dari pelatihan ini adalah membangun lingkungan inklusi dalam lingkungan pendidikan, terlebih dalam aspek keberagaman latar belakang sosial dan agama. Sehingga dapat mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai sosial dan menajamkan kepakaan pada isu-isu inklisi sosial.
Menurut Direktur Eksekutif Maarif Institute, Abdurrahim Ghazali, "pelatihan ini adalah interpretasi dari salah satu kaidah ushul fiqh yang berbunyi dar'ul mafazid muqaddamun ala jalbil mashalih, yang mana pendidikan inklusi adalah upaya mencegah sikap intoleransi adalah kebaikan yang bisa dilakuakn agar tercegahnya sebuah kerusakan, oleh karena itu melalui pendidikan lah kebaikan itu bisa ditanamkan, melalui gurulah semangat inklusi itu ditanamkan kepada peserta didik."
Direktur Infid, Iwan Misthohizzaman menegaskan tentang pendidikan inklusi adalah pendidikan yang diibaratkan olah rasa pada keindahan dalam prodak kebudayaan berupa seni.
"Pendidikan adalah satu sikap kebudayaan yang bisa membangun keluasan dan kesadaran cara berpikir. Seperti halnya kesenian, kita bisa mengambil nilai-nilai keindahan dari berbagai jenis produk seni yang berbeda-beda. Begitulah peserta didik, memiliki nilai keindahan masing-masing, tugas kita adalah saling menghargai dan menghormati." tutur Pak Iwan dalam Sambutannya.
mengapa yang menjadi sasaran pelatihan adalah guru agama? menurut Direktur Program dan Risert Maarif Institute, Moh. Shofan pemilihan guru-guru lintas agama dalam pelatihan ini memiliki alasan yang kuat, di mana agama harus diajarkan dengan cara yang ramah.
"Agama harus diajarkan dengan cara yang ramah, di samping itu sebagai guru kita menanamkan nilai kepada peserta didik kita tentang bagaimana merayakan keberagaman yang ada di dalam diri peserta didik, pelatihan ini juga dapat membuat guru-guru memilih strategi pengajaran yang tepat untuk keberagaman yang ada secara alami di dalam diri peserta didik." Ucap Shofan dalam Pengantar Program Pelatihan LOVE.
